Join our team of counsellors and help provide affordable mental health support across South Warwickshire.

Make a difference in your community

We are always looking for volunteer counsellors to join our team. With their help, we are able to provide low-cost counselling to those living in South Warwickshire.

Whether you are a trainee counsellor looking for a placement to complete your hours, or a qualified counsellor looking to give back, gain experience or hours towards accreditation — we would love to hear from you.

We have a limited number of placements available throughout the year across our locations (Warwick, Stratford, Kenilworth and Remote), as well as opportunities for work-based learning.

What we look for

Trainee Counsellors

  • On at least a Diploma (Level 4) or Foundation Degree level course
  • Can commit to working with 3 clients per week
  • Commit to 1:1s with a Line Manager
  • Attend CPD/Volunteer Mornings throughout the year
  • Student member of a professional body

Qualified Counsellors

  • Qualification of at least a Diploma Level 4
  • Commit to 1:1s with a Line Manager
  • Attend CPD/Volunteer Mornings throughout the year
  • Member of a professional body

Please note: we are unable to provide or contribute towards supervision.

How to apply

To register your interest, please complete the short form via the link below. We will collect your contact details only, and hold them until we have positions open. We'll then invite you to complete an application form if the position aligns with your skills and availability.

  • If the position offered is not suitable, we'll keep your details on file until the next openings.
  • If, by the time we contact you, you have already found a placement, please let us know.
  • If your application is unsuccessful we will remove your details from our list.

All our staff team are part-time — please bear this in mind when contacting us. We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
